Thank you so much to those of you who attended my Qi Gong workshop with guest instructor Julieta Ortiz. Creating Wellness is an active commitment to live a healthy and fulfilled life.
I enjoyed Juliana Ortiz's class. Not only did she explain the background for how you move, she made it easy by giving visualizations and demonstrating the moves. There was a big difference in my body and my mood coming to the class and leaving it. The tension left my body and I felt happier. The great thing is that every one can practice Qi Gong and get the benefit.
I invite you to join us for the next Qi Gong class with Julieta on June 17, 2009.

Some Feedback from the Meditation Workshop
Each person has unique goals or expectations when starting a meditation practice. While I generally try to encourage participants to let go of their preconceptions and just experience the sensations of their body and the moment, sometimes we focus on techniques that boost the immune system or break self-destructive habits.
Here are some comments from our most recent workshop...
From a patient who was nervous about a job interview:
I had a more focused and comfortable 2nd interview today, Diane
This meditation session was Jessica's first time. She is recovering from back injury:
Thank you so much for the meditation last night... I really wanted to see what it was all about. I had a difficult time getting (and staying) comfortable because of my long-term injuries. ...You're quite caring and skilled, and I loved being there nonetheless! I did get some peace from it.
From a young father:
Thanks for guiding the meditation. I really enjoyed being aware of any physical sensations and being with that. I hope to make the next one. Kevin
And from a sustainable ("Green) design consultant:
Thanks Sigal…I really enjoyed it. I’ve put it in my calendar for next month. Best, Alegre
Thank you to everyone who participated in this month's Meditation Workshop. Meditation is a practice. To support your practice, join us April 1 for our next group session.

A Review About Me
Thank you.
Sigal is simply wonderful. She listens to every concern, complaint and helps find a solution. I had tried massage therapy, physical therapy, and regular doctors to help find a remedy for all the different symptoms I've had over the years - lately mostly back and neck pain, but nothing has worked as well as Acupuncture and Sigal's treatment. She's helping me regain a sense of feeling good! ... (click to read more)

Sigal has saved and continues to save me from all my ailments - BIG and small. I didn't believe in accupuncture until I was in so much pain I felt I had nothing to loose.... I kick myself for not trying it eariler - she truly has "Healing Hands". I'm not a needle fan but she is very gentle and I hardly notice it. If you are in pain for whatever reason- give her a call, you'll be glad you did - and hey you just might see me there! ... (click to read more)

Yesterday's Meditation
I would like to thank every one that attended. One of the intentions of this meditation was opening the heart. In TCM, the heart organ is related to the fire element which is associated with summer. The emotions of the heart are Joy and Compassion. I wish you a summer full of both. Thank you for sharing your heart with me. It fullfilled my need for connection.
